Principal for GE Broker Dealer (Series 24) for team of 15 corporate finance originators, par and distressed traders and settlement transactors of primary, secondary and syndication transactions as well as mergers and acquisitions of platforms. Establish and manage all processes to SEC and FSA regulations. Manage execution for all GE financial businesses. Execution volume of $4.8 billion per annum. Member of senior management team.

2005 – 2007 - Managing Director – London.
Built a new platform for West Europe and Emerging Market transactions. In one year, grew deal volume to $2.4BN, hired and trained full service team and had Net Income of $20MM. The team won the GE Capital President’s Award.

2003 – 2005 - Managing Director – Emerging Market Structuring and Capital Markets Head, London.
Lead startup team to structure and syndicate emerging market corporate debt generated by GE project finance and ABB Structured Finance merger. Specialized in Africa, East European/Russia and Middle East transactions.

2000 – 2003 - Global Emerging Markets GE Structured Trade Finance Leader.
Lead team to arrange transactions in Emerging Market. Within 1 year we ramped up financing for $1.3BN of Emerging Market projects and $50MM of net income to GE – a 200% increase from previous year. Supported deals in Asia, Africa, Middle East, Latam.


Citibank NA – 1994 - 2000

1998 – 2000 – Regional Director – Frankfurt, Germany. Lead team of senior transactors for project and structured trade finance - $5MM in net NEW earnings. Originated mandates in Africa, East Europe/Russia/CIS (Kazakhstan), Middle East.

1994 – 1998 – Vice President – Manhattan, NY.
Originator/structurer of project and trade finance deals in Africa, East Europe/Russia (CIS) /Middle East, and Central America bringing in $2MM of net new earnings per person per year.
I also was the primary consultant and advisor to Aeroflot and Pratt & Whitney in the IL96 aircraft development program.

Overseas Private Investment Corp 1987 - 1994

Regional Manager – Washington D.C. Leader Africa, Asia, Middle East.
Lead team underwriting protocols for transactions in high risk transactions. Underwrote first loss risk against financial and political risk to projects. Generated $4.8MM fee per person per annum.
Togo, West Africa. One-off 1-year assignment: lived and reported directly to President Eyadema of Togo to establish and manage a Free Trade Zone. Brought in $20MM of new direct investment into country.

USAID/Peace Corps – Togo, West Africa 1983 - 1985

Advisor to a local regional agricultural demonstration center to teach and lend funds to local farmers to use new technology for farming. 99% repayment rate.
